Nameer Haider, MD, FAAPM&R, DABPM
Nameer Haider, MD, FAAPM&R, DABPM, is the interventional pain management physician at Cell Bionics Institute, which has offices in Sterling, Virginia, and Utica, New York. Dr. Haider is a highly esteemed surgeon who has more than 20 years of experience in successfully treating pain using innovative treatments, including alternative methods such as regenerative medicine. He’s also a pioneer in the application of new minimally invasive procedures for pain management and has trained other physicians worldwide.
After graduating with honors from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, Dr. Haider went on to complete his surgical internship at East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. He then relocated to New York for his physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R) residency at the Northshore University/Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Manhasset. After serving as chief resident at the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, Dr. Haider completed his fellowship training in interventional pain management at the Spinal & Skeletal Pain Institute in Utica, New York.
Dedicated to his profession, Dr. Haider is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He also holds two additional board certifications in the subspecialty of Pain Medicine from the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Haider also serves as the Chairman of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in Utica and is president of the New York State Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
Dr. Haider believes in the power of education and spends the time needed with each of his patients to answer all of their questions so they can make the most informed decision about their care.
